        South China University of Technology Architectural Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. is a well-known Class A design and research institute in the country. It was founded in 1953 and is one of the first Class A design and research institutes established in key universities in the country. Huagong Architectural Design and Research Institute has a number of professional qualifications, and there are nearly 700 outstanding professional and technical personnel in the institute. They created a large number of excellent design works with profound cultural heritage and high technical gold content, such as the China Pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, the expansion project of the Memorial Hall for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre by the Japanese Invaders, the Yi Madam Museum of South China University of Technology, Leshan Giant Buddha Museum, Qingdao International Convention Center (the main venue of the 2018 Qingdao Shanghai Cooperation Summit), Zhuhai Airport Terminal, Western Han Dynasty Nanyue King Tomb Museum, etc. At the same time, it has also made great achievements in the architectural design and planning of new technology industrial parks, hotel buildings and health industries.
